  • ART CLASS--Wednesdays from 9:00 to 12:00.  Call 503-829-4214 to sign up or if you need more information.


  • COMPUTER CLASSES--Classes start again when we get enough students.  Classes are:  First Step for Beginners, starting at 9:30; Computer Basics, starting at 1:00 p.m.; Word Processing, starting at 3:00.  Cost is $45 for a 4-week course.  For specific questions about each class call Jerry King at 503-723-9497.


  • LIGHT AEROBICS AND LIGHT WEIGHT EXERCISESS--Every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9:00 to 10:00.  Anyone is welcome at any time.  Students, do not forget the cost is $3.00 at the beginning of each term.  Class is on-going.  You are all welcome.


  • PERSONAL HISTORY--Writing your own personal and family history.  The course is eight weeks long:  1 session per week for 8 weeks.  Classes will be on Mondays at 1:00 (on going).  This class has become very popular and should be considered for seniors to leave a living family history to younger generations. 


  • POOL TABLE--The Center's pool table room is open from 8:30 to 4:30, Monday through Friday for your enjoyment.  You and your friends are welcome to visit and join the group any time.


  • QUILTING--The quilters meet every Tuesday and Friday at 9:30. If you would like to learn or like to help come join the group.  Have a quilt ready to quilt?  Please call and put your name on the list.

  • PINOCHLE--On the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of every month pinochle will be from 12:00 to 3:30 (to allow for the room to be set up for the City Council meetings).  Any other Wednesday pinochle will start at 12:30 until 4:30.  Bring a snack and join them!


  • DIABETIC EDUCATION AND SUPPORT--The Center has been hosting a Diabetic Support Group for several years.  This group is open to anyone that is diabetic and would benefit getting together with people with a similar condition.  The group meets every second Thursday of every month, at 1:00 except one month in the summer.  We frequently have speakers from Silverton and Willamette Falls Hospitals.
