What a wonderful tune
Our hives are located on a cozy 5 acres on the outskirts of Molalla, Oregon. The bees are happy bustling little entities that travel the miles wide as the days are long. Their primary sources of pollens and nectars sit within the treasures of the maple trees, blackberry bushes, fireweed, and other wild assortments of natural foliage which thrives near the river's edge. We harvest some of the bounty of their labors but give them watchful care and protective supervision in exchange.
Pollen is brought in during the early spring and the honey flow gathered in  late summer. The rewards of bee care are many. Smells are sweet, sounds invigorating, and the constant reminder of a tender, gentler world always buzzing throughout the perimeter of their spacious environment. Contrary to popular fears, honey bees display aggressive behavior only when bothered or threatened. Their lives seem to be about work, work, work, save, save, save, and remain diligent in protecting the queen.
